The Role:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will lead the design, simulation, and testing of complex electrical systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-voltage power electronics systems and circuit schematics.
- Oversee PCB layout design and collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure production feasibility.
- Conduct thorough testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical prototypes to ensure compliance with industry standards (UL, IEC, IEEE).
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials), design reports, and test procedures.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in power electronics, semiconductors, and control systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in power electronics, embedded systems, or motor control.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or LTspice.
- Strong knowledge of PCB design software (Altium Designer, Cadence, or OrCAD).
- Experience with embedded C/C++ and microcontroller programming (ARM, DSP).
- Familiarity with IEC 61000 EMC standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic team setting.
