Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-voltage power systems for solar/wind energy conversion
- Create detailed PCB schematics using Altium Designer and Cadence
- Lead embedded firmware development for IoT-enabled smart meters
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic simulations using ANSYS Maxwell
- Validate prototypes through rigorous testing and compliance standards (UL/IEC)
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics or renewable energy systems
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Proficiency with high-frequency switching converters and battery BMS
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1547 and NEC Article 705 standards
- Experience with Python for automation and data analysis
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification
