Responsibilities
- Design and prototype sophisticated electrical circuits and control systems for industrial hardware.
- Perform detailed component selection, analysis, and verification to ensure maximum system reliability.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with mechanical and firmware teams to ensure seamless hardware integration.
- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of prototypes, implementing design iterations based on performance metrics.
- Manage technical documentation, including schematics, Bill of Materials (BOM), and compliance reports.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
- Ensure designs meet all safety and regulatory standards, including NEC and IEEE requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in hardware or electrical systems design.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD.
- Strong understanding of power electronics, PCB layout, and signal integrity.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- PE license or working toward professional registration is highly preferred.
