Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of high-voltage power distribution systems
- Develop embedded control systems for smart grid automation
- Conduct power system analysis using PSS/E and ETAP software
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with IEEE standards and NEC regulations
- Collaborate with R&D team on energy storage solutions
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and Python for system modeling
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy integration
- Experience with SCADA and PLC systems
- Proven project management skills with PMP certification
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
