Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for renewable energy integration
- Lead development of IoT-enabled smart grid monitoring solutions
- Perform complex circuit analysis and thermal management simulations using SPICE and MATLAB
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Develop compliance strategies for UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics and high-voltage system design
- Proficiency in PCB layout tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro)
- Strong knowledge of IEC 61850 and smart grid communication protocols
- Proven track record leading projects from concept to deployment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with renewable energy integration and grid-scale storage systems
