Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-efficiency power electronics for solar inverters and battery storage systems
- Lead PCB layout and validation using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Develop firmware interfaces for embedded control systems
- Analyze system performance using SPICE simulation tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in high-voltage systems (600V+)
- Proficiency with Altium/Cadence and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards
- Experience with renewable energy systems integration
- Proven project leadership in agile environments
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
