Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical design processes, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection for IoT devices
- Develop and validate hardware prototypes through rigorous testing methodologies (EMC, ESD, signal integrity)
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs, test reports, and design specifications
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation in power electronics and embedded systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews to maintain quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
- 5+ years of experience in electronics design for consumer or industrial products
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent EDA tools
- Expert knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, power electronics, and microcontrollers
- Experience with EMC/EMI compliance testing and regulatory standards (FCC, CE)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to debug complex hardware issues
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to lead technical projects
