Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of high-voltage electrical systems for solar/wind farms
- Develop and validate circuit schematics using AutoCAD and ETAP software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on power distribution network optimization
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for critical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and local safety regulations
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and project managers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems or renewable energy
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and power system analysis tools
- Experience with SCADA systems and PLC programming
- Strong knowledge of three-phase power systems and transformers
- Demonstrated project leadership in industrial-scale installations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
