Responsibilities
- System Design & Architecture: Lead the end-to-end design of electrical power systems, including generation, transmission, and distribution networks, ensuring compliance with national and international standards (IEEE, NEC).
- Project Leadership: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, acting as the primary technical liaison between clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Feasibility Analysis: Conduct rigorous technical feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to optimize system performance and operational efficiency.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all engineering designs adhere to strict safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality assurance standards.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Documentation: Create detailed schematics, technical reports, and specifications using advanced CAD and simulation software.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in electrical power systems engineering.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred or required for this role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, PLS-CADD, or similar electrical simulation and design software.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills with a focus on innovative solutions.
