Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing IoT-integrated smart grid infrastructure
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for renewable energy integration
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation including schematics and compliance reports
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews of critical system designs
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-gen energy storage solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design and smart grid technology
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Expertise in AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and ETAP software
- Proven track record with IEEE 1547 and NEC compliance standards
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Experience leading teams of 5+ engineers on multi-million dollar projects
