Responsibilities
- Lead design, development, and validation of complex electrical systems for aerospace applications
- Perform detailed circuit analysis, PCB layout, and component selection using Altium Designer
- Collaborate with mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical components
- Develop comprehensive test plans and conduct rigorous validation testing (EMI/EMC, environmental)
- Document technical specifications, schematics, and compliance reports per FAA/EASA standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Research emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage in power distribution and signal integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expertise in high-speed digital design, power electronics, and RF systems
- Proficiency in ECAD tools (Altium, Cadence) and simulation software (SPICE, MATLAB)
- Strong understanding of DO-254/178C aerospace certification requirements
- Experience with embedded systems (C/C++) and real-time operating systems
- Demonstrated success in leading complex projects from concept to production
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot multi-domain systems
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders
