Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical systems for renewable energy projects including solar inverters and battery management systems
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design using Altium Designer and Cadence tools
- Conduct power analysis and thermal simulations using MATLAB/Simulink
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee project documentation compliance
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on enclosure design and EMI/EMC testing
- Research emerging power electronics technologies and propose innovation roadmaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics and renewable energy systems
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for PCB design
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards for electrical safety and compliance
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
