- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining technical excellence
Responsibilities
- Design and develop PCB schematics for high-voltage power electronics
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic simulations using Ansys and COMSOL
- Validate hardware performance through rigorous lab testing and field trials
- Collaborate with firmware teams to optimize embedded control algorithms
- Document technical specifications and create detailed test protocols
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency with Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Expertise in SiC/GaN semiconductor applications
- Strong analytical skills with MATLAB/Python modeling experience
- Proven track record in hardware validation and reliability testing
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
