Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test complex electrical systems including power distribution, control circuits, and embedded systems
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design using industry-standard tools (Altium, Cadence)
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic compatibility analysis for high-voltage applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into larger systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for design validation
- Develop comprehensive documentation including test plans, schematics, and compliance reports
- Research and implement emerging technologies in power electronics and automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design and high-voltage systems
- Proficiency in PCB design tools and simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE)
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Experience leading projects from conception through production validation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to optimize system performance
- Strong communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Relevant certifications (PE, PMP) highly desirable
