Responsibilities
- Lead design and optimization of medium-voltage electrical systems for solar/wind installations
- Develop control algorithms for smart grid automation and power management
- Conduct FMEA analysis and validation testing for electrical safety compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design standards
- Collaborate with hardware teams on PCB layout and component selection
- Prepare technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test protocols
- Research emerging technologies in power electronics and energy storage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics design (inverters, converters, motor drives)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and PSpice
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards (1547, 519, etc.)
- Experience with renewable energy systems integration
- PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven project management skills for technical deliverables
