Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced power electronics systems for renewable energy integration
- Lead the creation of control systems for microgrids and smart energy solutions
- Analyze complex electrical systems using simulation tools (PSIM, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Collaborate with hardware teams on PCB design and component selection
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electrical systems under real-world conditions
- Develop comprehensive documentation including schematics, test reports, and technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics or renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Altium Designer) and simulation software
- Strong understanding of grid integration standards (IEEE 1547, UL 1741)
- Experience with energy storage systems and battery management systems
- Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects from concept to deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
