Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems for consumer electronics and industrial applications
- Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs using Altium Designer and Cadence
- Analyze system performance and troubleshoot complex hardware issues
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
- Collaborate with software teams on embedded firmware integration
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards, UL regulations, and RoHS guidelines
- Research emerging technologies to implement innovative solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume electronics product development
- Expertise in power electronics, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC design
- Proficiency with simulation tools (MATLAB, SPICE, ANSYS Maxwell)
- Strong knowledge of PCB fabrication processes and DFM principles
- Experience leading cross-functional projects through full product lifecycle
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP preferred
