Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-voltage power electronics for renewable energy systems
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design using Altium Designer
- Analyze and optimize circuit performance using SPICE simulations
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Ensure compliance with UL/IEC/IEEE standards and safety protocols
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical guidance
- Document technical specifications and create test procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics
- Experience with 3-phase inverters and MPPT algorithms
- Proficient in EMC/EMI testing and mitigation techniques
- Certification in ISO 9001 or similar quality systems
- Track record of delivering hardware products to market
