Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of high-voltage electrical systems for renewable energy infrastructure
- Perform advanced circuit analysis and simulation using industry-standard tools (e.g., PSpice, MATLAB)
- Oversee prototype testing and validation of electrical components under extreme conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software platforms
- Prepare detailed technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and compliance reports
- Research emerging technologies in power electronics and energy storage systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Minimum 8 years of experience in power systems design and high-voltage applications
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or eligibility in Texas
- Expertise in IEEE standards and NEC compliance for industrial systems
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical) and simulation tools
- Demonstrated experience with renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in EMC/EMI testing and mitigation
- Excellent project management abilities with proven track record of delivering complex projects
