Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of power distribution systems for utility-scale projects
- Develop embedded firmware for IoT-enabled energy monitoring devices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototype development and testing
- Optimize circuit layouts using Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions for production systems
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Stay current with IEEE standards and emerging power electronics trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or utility systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Expertise with PCB design tools (Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro)
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety protocols
- Experience with renewable energy integration (solar, wind, battery storage)
- Proven track record of leading hardware development from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
