Responsibilities
- Design and validate complex electrical systems for renewable energy storage solutions
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing IoT-enabled smart grid infrastructure
- Perform power electronics simulations using SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink
- Ensure compliance with IEEE 1547 and NEC standards for grid-tied systems
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design optimization
- Collaborate with product teams to translate customer requirements into technical specifications
- Drive innovation in energy harvesting and power conversion technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics and three-phase power systems design
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for PCB layout
- Certification in PE (Professional Engineer) or equivalent
- Experience with energy storage systems (Li-ion, flow batteries) or solar inverters
- Demonstrated project leadership from concept to commercial deployment
- Strong analytical skills for EMC/EMI compliance testing
- Knowledge of Python for automation and data analysis
