Responsibilities
- Design and validate power distribution systems for high-voltage aerospace applications
- Develop embedded firmware for motor controllers and sensor networks
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and mitigation strategies
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
- Lead root cause analysis for electrical system failures
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or defense electronics
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE simulation tools
- Certification in DO-254 or DO-160 standards
- Expertise in high-speed digital and analog circuit design
- Strong knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety principles
