Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems for renewable energy projects including solar inverters and battery storage systems
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design using Altium Designer for high-efficiency power electronics
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis for industrial equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical solutions with mechanical and software components
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for electrical systems
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices
- Research emerging technologies and implement innovative solutions in power distribution systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design and renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS) and CAD software (AutoCAD, Altium)
- Strong understanding of IEEE standards for electrical safety and grid integration
- Experience with embedded systems programming in C/C++ for firmware development
- Proven track record of managing projects from concept to production
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
