Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Lead PCB layout and validation for IoT-enabled energy monitoring devices
- Develop firmware interfaces for real-time grid communication protocols
- Perform thermal and electromagnetic compatibility analysis using ANSYS Maxwell
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product lifecycle management
- Ensure compliance with IEEE 1547 and NEC standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in power electronics and grid-tied systems
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of three-phase power systems and fault analysis
- Certification in Power Electronics (PE) or equivalent
- Experience with embedded C programming for ARM processors
- Demonstrated success in leading hardware development projects
- Strong problem-solving skills with complex system integration challenges
