Responsibilities
- Design and optimize PCB layouts for high-voltage automotive systems using Altium Designer
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time power monitoring and control systems
- Lead prototyping and validation of electrical assemblies through rigorous testing protocols
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components
- Analyze thermal performance and electromagnetic interference (EMI) compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Document technical specifications and maintain compliance with ISO 26262 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design for automotive or industrial applications
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Proficiency with Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for PCB design
- Strong knowledge of CAN/LIN bus protocols and automotive communication standards
- Experience with battery management systems (BMS) and power conversion topologies
- Ability to lead projects from concept to mass production
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
