Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems, including power distribution networks and control systems.
- Conduct detailed load calculations, short-circuit studies, and arc flash analysis to ensure system reliability.
- Lead the troubleshooting and maintenance of high-voltage infrastructure and electrical components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into larger mechanical and software systems.
- Perform rigorous testing and validation of prototypes under various environmental and load conditions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, schematics, and specifications for regulatory compliance and client handover.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of technical training programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in power systems or industrial electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, MATLAB/Simulink, or PSpice.
- Deep knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and relevant safety standards (NFPA 70E).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
