Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of complex PCBs from schematic capture to layout and manufacturing files.
- Develop and validate hardware prototypes, including firmware integration and testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to ensure design integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.
- Perform detailed analysis of signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal management.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within the Agile development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware design and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or similar PCB design tools.
- Strong understanding of microcontrollers (ARM, FPGA) and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN).
- Experience with EMC/EMI standards and regulatory compliance testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues under pressure.
