Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage power electronics systems
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer
- Conduct electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing and mitigation
- Optimize energy conversion efficiency for solar inverters
- Document technical specifications and create compliance reports
- Mentor junior engineers on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in power electronics or renewable energy design
- Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with ISO 17025 accredited testing environments
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards
- Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis
