Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical circuits for solar inverters and energy storage systems
- Lead PCB layout and validation using Altium Designer/Cadence tools
- Perform thermal analysis and reliability testing for power electronics
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical documentation standards
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded control systems
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741 and IEC 62109 standards
- Research emerging power semiconductor technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in PSpice/Simulink simulation and MATLAB
- Strong knowledge of SiC/GaN semiconductor technologies
- Experience with EMC/EMI compliance testing
- Proven project leadership in hardware development
- Proficiency in Python for automation scripts
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
