Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power electronics systems for EV charging infrastructure and grid integration
- Lead PCB layout and component selection for 3-phase inverters and battery management systems
- Develop comprehensive thermal management solutions for power-dense applications
- Conduct EMI/EMC compliance testing and mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on enclosure design and integration
- Document technical specifications and create detailed test protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred) with 8+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics design (inverters, converters, motor drives)
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong background in embedded systems programming (C/C++, Python)
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards for automotive applications
- Proven track record of bringing power systems from prototype to production
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
