Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced power electronics systems for solar inverters and battery storage solutions
- Lead end-to-end project lifecycle from concept to production deployment
- Perform rigorous electrical simulations using SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink
- Collaborate with hardware teams on PCB layout, component selection, and thermal management
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741, IEC 62109, and IEEE 1547 standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Research emerging semiconductor technologies and integration strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred) with 8+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics, switching converters, and high-voltage systems
- Proficiency in Cadence Altium Designer and PADS EDA tools
- Strong background in EMC/EMI testing and mitigation strategies
- Experience with renewable energy systems and grid-tied applications
- Proven track record of bringing products from prototype to mass production
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Strong analytical skills with problem-solving aptitude
