Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and system architectures for power distribution and control systems
- Lead prototype testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical components and subsystems
- Analyze complex technical requirements and provide innovative solutions for power electronics applications
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to maintain design excellence
- Stay updated on industry standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC) and regulatory compliance requirements
- Document technical specifications, test procedures, and project deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics, motor drives, or renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, Altium Designer, SolidWorks Electrical)
- Strong knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontroller programming (C/C++)
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from concept to deployment
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in high-voltage and high-current environments
