Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of high-voltage power systems for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics using Altium Designer with rigorous EMI/EMC compliance
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through design reviews and technical documentation
- Collaborate with firmware team on embedded systems integration and sensor networks
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for production issues
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders and industry partners
Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of power electronics design experience
- Expertise in Altium Designer and SPICE simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards (IEEE 1547, UL 1741) for grid-tied systems
- Proven track record in hardware bring-up for high-reliability applications
- Experience leading cross-functional projects with mechanical and firmware teams
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
