Responsibilities
- Lead design and prototyping of high-voltage power distribution systems for solar farms
- Develop embedded firmware for IoT-enabled energy monitoring devices
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance validation
- Optimize circuit designs using CAD tools (Altium Designer, Cadence)
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Document technical specifications and create engineering deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics or renewable energy systems
- Proficiency in PCB design and simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Strong understanding of UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
- Experience with 3-phase inverters and battery management systems
- Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or PMP preferred
- Proven track record of delivering projects from concept to production
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
