Responsibilities
- Lead the design, simulation, and validation of complex analog and digital circuits for high-performance systems.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and collaborate with mechanical and software engineers for system integration.
- Perform comprehensive design verification, including signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC analysis.
- Drive test plan development, conduct rigorous testing, and debug hardware prototypes to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Evaluate and select appropriate electronic components, considering performance, cost, and supply chain factors.
- Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Document design specifications, test procedures, and manufacturing guidelines thoroughly.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in electrical hardware design and development.
- Proven expertise with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle) and simulation software (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and power electronics.
- Hands-on experience with hardware debugging, test equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers), and prototyping.
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC standards and design best practices for compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
