Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of complex PCB layouts and power distribution systems
- Develop firmware-level interfaces for embedded control systems using C/C++
- Conduct electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Analyze system requirements and create detailed engineering specifications
- Stay current with industry standards (IEC, UL, ISO 13485) and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in PCB design and analog/digital circuit development
- Proficiency in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro EDA tools
- Strong understanding of power electronics and energy storage systems
- Experience with embedded programming (ARM Cortex-M, RTOS)
- Knowledge of automotive/industrial safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508)
- Demonstrated project leadership from concept to production
- Strong analytical skills with FMEA and root cause analysis experience
