Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of high-voltage power electronics for renewable energy systems
- Perform detailed circuit analysis, simulation, and validation using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with mechanical and software components
- Document technical specifications, create design schematics, and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer reviews to maintain quality excellence
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions for energy efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or energy systems design
- Proficiency in CAD tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD) and simulation software (PSIM, LTspice)
- Strong knowledge of PCB layout, EMI/EMC compliance, and thermal management
- Experience with renewable energy systems or battery storage technology
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proven track record of delivering complex hardware projects from concept to production
