Responsibilities
- Design and validate power electronics systems for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time control systems using C/C++ and RTOS
- Perform thermal analysis and reliability testing for high-voltage components
- Lead PCB layout and component selection for high-frequency switching circuits
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on enclosure design and EMI shielding
- Document technical specifications and create test protocols for compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and embedded systems
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, PSpice, and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of UL 1741, IEEE 1547, and NEC standards
- Experience with three-phase inverters and battery BMS architectures
- Expertise in signal integrity analysis and EMI/EMC compliance
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to production
