Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design of power distribution systems for commercial-scale renewable energy projects
- Develop and validate PCB layouts using Altium Designer for IoT sensor networks
- Optimize energy consumption in smart grid infrastructure through real-time data analysis
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for compliance with IEEE standards
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system designs for EV charging stations
- Research emerging technologies in power electronics and propose implementation strategies
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and embedded systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for circuit simulation and analysis
- Certification in PE (Professional Engineer) or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in Altium Designer and AutoCAD Electrical for schematic capture
- Strong understanding of NEC and IEC electrical safety standards
- Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept to deployment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with systematic troubleshooting methodology
