Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems for renewable energy integration and smart grid infrastructure
- Lead PCB layout, schematic capture, and validation for IoT hardware prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on embedded firmware and sensor integration
- Perform power analysis, EMI/EMC compliance testing, and thermal management solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical feasibility studies for new technologies
- Develop documentation including test procedures, design specifications, and safety reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and embedded systems design
- Proficiency with Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of IEEE standards for power distribution and safety compliance
- Experience with Python/MATLAB for system modeling and simulation
- Proven track record of bringing hardware products from concept to production
- Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems
