Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for aerospace applications
- Lead PCB layout and component selection for flight control electronics
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time control systems using C/C++
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and mitigation
- Create detailed technical documentation and compliance reports
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and troubleshooting sessions
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or defense electronics
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence PCB tools
- Strong background in power electronics and motor control
- FAA certification or DO-160 compliance experience
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and network analyzers
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain
