Responsibilities
- Design and optimize high-voltage electrical systems for utility-scale renewable projects
- Develop detailed schematics and PCB layouts for power electronics components
- Lead compliance testing and certification processes (UL/IEC standards)
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and performance optimization
- Research emerging power conversion technologies and recommend implementation strategies
- Prepare technical documentation and project specifications for stakeholder review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics or high-voltage systems design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and circuit simulation tools
- Strong understanding of IEEE 1547 and NEC Article 705 standards
- Experience with renewable energy systems integration
- Proven project leadership with deliverables in fast-paced environments
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex electromagnetic challenges
