Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and validation of high-voltage power distribution systems
- Develop embedded firmware for real-time energy monitoring and control systems
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers on thermal management solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Research emerging power electronics technologies and industry standards
- Prepare technical documentation and patent disclosures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and embedded systems
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or similar EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 1584 and NFPA 70E standards
- Experience with renewable energy integration and grid-tied systems
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on troubleshooting experience
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
