Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of high-voltage power conversion systems, including DC-DC and DC-AC converters.
- Oversee the creation of schematic diagrams, PCB layouts, and bill of materials (BOM) using industry-standard tools.
- Conduct rigorous simulation, prototyping, and testing to validate product performance and reliability under varying environmental conditions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the design review process.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, firmware, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards (IEC, UL, IEEE) and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven expertise in power electronics, circuit theory, and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle.
- Strong background in simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink or PSpice.
- Experience with EMI/EMC compliance testing and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
