Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end electrical system design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and validation testing
- Develop power electronics solutions for high-efficiency automotive and industrial applications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews for design quality and compliance
- Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams on integrated system architectures
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 functional safety standards and industry regulations
- Drive innovation in high-speed digital circuit design and signal integrity optimization
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive design documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics and PCB design for commercial products
- Expertise in Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent EDA tools
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for simulation and modeling
- Strong understanding of EMC/EMI compliance testing and mitigation strategies
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time firmware interfacing
- Proven track record of bringing complex electronic products to market
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
