Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of high-voltage electrical systems for EV platforms
- Develop comprehensive schematics using AutoCAD Electrical and Altium Designer
- Conduct thermal analysis and electromagnetic compatibility testing
- Manage component selection and supplier relationships for critical subsystems
- Document technical specifications and create validation test protocols
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
- Optimize power distribution networks for efficiency and reliability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in automotive or high-power electronics
- Expertise in ISO 26262 functional safety requirements
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Strong background in power electronics and battery management systems
- Experience leading NPI projects from concept to production
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
