Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of power distribution systems for utility-scale solar inverters
- Develop embedded control algorithms for energy storage management systems
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and mitigation strategies
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using Altium Designer
- Conduct thermal analysis and reliability testing for high-voltage components
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with hardware teams on prototype assembly and testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and simulation
- Expertise in Altium Designer for PCB layout and schematic capture
- Strong understanding of IEEE 1547 and UL 1741 standards
- Experience with LabVIEW for automated testing systems
- Demonstrated project leadership in energy sector deployments
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
