Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize power electronic systems for solar inverters and battery storage solutions
- Lead PCB layout and schematic design using Altium Designer and Cadence tools
- Conduct comprehensive electrical simulations and validation testing (SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink)
- Mentor junior engineers and oversee technical documentation compliance
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Research emerging semiconductor technologies and implement cutting-edge components
- Ensure compliance with UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expertise in power electronics design (DC/DC converters, inverters, motor drives)
- Proficiency in EDA tools (Altium, Cadence, PADS) and simulation software
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor devices (MOSFETs, IGBTs, SiC/GaN)
- Experience with embedded systems programming (C/C++) for control algorithms
- Proven track record in bringing products from concept to mass production
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and reliability
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
