Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-voltage power distribution systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing automation and control systems
- Perform detailed circuit analysis using SPICE and MATLAB simulations
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEC, and IEEE standards for all projects
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of design documentation
- Collaborate with R&D on prototype development for energy storage solutions
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design and industrial applications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Expertise in AutoCAD Electrical and ETAP power system analysis software
- Strong background in three-phase systems, transformers, and protective relaying
- Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Rockwell) and SCADA systems
- Demonstrated project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Knowledge of renewable energy integration and microgrid technologies
