Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced electrical systems for renewable energy conversion and storage
- Lead PCB layout, component selection, and validation testing for high-power electronics
- Analyze electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and thermal performance of power systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for technical excellence
- Collaborate with firmware teams to optimize hardware-software integration
- Ensure compliance with UL, IEC, and industry safety standards
- Document engineering processes and create detailed technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and validation
- Proficiency in Cadence Allegro/PADS and MATLAB/Simulink
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics and thermal management
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar, wind, or battery storage)
- Expertise in high-frequency switching converters and control systems
- Certification in Six Sigma or Project Management (PMP) a plus
